Must be at least 12 years old. (12-14 year olds receive the PADI Junior Rescue Diver certification)

Must be certified as an Advanced Diver, Adventure Diver or Jr. Adventure Diver
Successful completion of an approved CPR program within the past 24 months

Mask, snorkel, fins, lycra socks, boots, gloves, surface marker buoy, reel, signaling device (whistle) and cutting device (shears or knife), Basic 1st Aid Kit
Cost varies depending on what pieces of equipment fit your specific needs.
Diving Equipment Needed:
Regulator system with computer, BCD, three cylinders, exposure suit with hood, weights and weight belt (available to rent or purchase.)
Course Scheduling
Becoming a Rescue diver is simple as one, two, three!
Orientation: Two hours of course logistics, paperwork and equipment fitting
Classroom: Two classroom sessions
Pool: One pool sessions of five hours
Open Water Dives: Two days in an open water environment (ocean or lake,) where you will complete ten exercises and two scenarios in the open water dives
Your Instructor may adjust the schedule according to class needs.

Rental fees are based on time, not use. No refunds or rainchecks.
A visual inspection fee will be charged on any tank returned empty (no positive pressure).
There is a $25.00 per item per day late fee for gear that is returned past the due date.
There is a $75.00 per item cleaning fee for gear that is returned sandy, salty, or otherwise unclean.
Test equipment before leaving the store.
Try on the BCD.
Configure your weight belt.
Fix any problems before you go to the pool or open water.
Replace the regulator dust cap when the system is not in use. Sand and salt water can damage internal regulator components requiring complete overhauls!
Rinse your gear in fresh water after use. Gear should be returned in the condition it was received.
Do NOT put weights in your gear bag. Weights and other heavy objects in your gear bag can damage your dive computer and other sensitive equipment.
