Discover Scuba Diving
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it. We offer a safe, warm & relaxed environment for you and your family. There’s a whole underwater world just waiting for you to discover, with a PADI Discover Scuba experience, you safely try scuba diving. While not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover Scuba experience you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water of a swimming pool and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.
The Fun Part
There is nothing like breathing underwater for the very first time. It takes a little getting used to, after all human beings weren’t designed to do that, but after a few minutes of awestruck wonder, you’ll realize how easy scuba diving really is. The biggest challenge we have with our Discover Scuba program is not coaxing people into the water, but trying to get them out when it is over!
Learning to dive is a great value when you consider that your PADI Instructor is a highly trained and experienced professional. Invest in scuba diving lessons and learn something you’ll enjoy the rest of your life. From the first day, diving will transform your life with new experiences you’ll be sharing with friends!
What You Learn
You learn the basics you need to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional in a heated swimming pool. You will:
* Experience what wearing scuba equipment feels like
* Feel how easy it is to move around underwater
* Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater
* Try some basic skills and safety rules that will carry over to your scuba course
* Discover about the scuba gear you will be using
All the equipment you will need is typically included in a Discover Scuba experience. You’ll use basic scuba equipment, which includes a mask, snorkel, fins, a buoyancy device that also contains your scuba tank, regulator that you breathe from and a set of gauges to monitor depth and air supply.
Starting Your Adventure
All you need to do to partake in this adventure is:
* Be at least 10 years old
* Have a sense of adventure!
Dates, Times and Costs
Our Discover Scuba experiences are offered each month and usually last between an hour or two, in a local heated swimming pool. We only allow up to nine people to participate, so we can give you that personalized attention you deserved. We also offer our Discover Scuba Sunday Splash Parties as an idea for a themed birthday party!

November 14th, 12pm – San Ramon
You can start your Discover Scuba for only $50.00 per person, which includes the use of a mask, snorkel, fins and exposure suit (if needed). We also include the use of all the scuba equipment needed to make your adventure exciting! Pre-registration is required, so call now to book your adventure!
