Open Water Diver Program

Hey want to hang out with the fish? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to pet a Manta Ray? How about swim with a turtle? If so, then you need to get underwater and blowing bubbles! We have several ways to get you in the water diving with the sea lions, sea otters, fish and other California marine life! Now’s the time to start your journey of a lifetime with Dive N Trips!

During your course, your Instructor will take you through the fundamentals of learning to dive; starting out in the pool and then progress to open water, all the while obtaining diving knowledge and skills as you advance through your exciting journey! You can expand your diving education and become a more competent and comfortable diver through our trips, events and classes!

Requirements:

·         Ages 10 & up (10 to 14 year olds can receive their PADI Jr. Open Water Diver certification)

·         Good health, reasonably fit and comfortable in the water

·         Be able to swim 200 yards and float for 10 minutes

·         Have an enthusiastic attitude to have FUN!

Learning Options:

Classroom Options:

1.  E-learning: completed online at your own pace (No classroom required)

2.  CD: complete the CD at home; print out your knowledge reviews so we can review them in class

Pool Options:

1.  Week night pool dives: 4 meetings of 3 hours each

2.  Weekend pool dives: 2 meetings of 4 hours each

Open Water Dives Options

1.  Warm Water Resort Referral: Complete class and pool with us finish your dives on your vacation!

2.  Full Course: Complete your class and pool, and then head to the open water with us for your dives!

Course Fees:

1. Tuition:                                   $169.00 (your Class)
2. CD Student Kit:                    $89.00 (your Learning Stuff)
3. PADI Cert. Fee:                    $25.00 (your Diver’s License)
4. Ocean Rental:                      $70.00 (your Gear)

Personal Gear Packages:

·         During the orientation session, you will have the opportunity to purchase your own Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Boots, Gloves and Defog Solution

·         We have your personal equipment packages starting at $199.99 to $360.00

·         Any equipment that you purchase for your class, which does not meet your needs or fits properly, can be exchanged prior to your open water dives. Please tell your instructor during the pool dives, so that we can address any equipment issues.
